"This is a slightly experimental mod with an unusual story. It is not set inside the Half Life universe and there are some game mechanics which have been subtley altered. The pace starts out slow, and builds up gradually. This mod is intended to be more of an adventure rather than a shooter. If you approach this mod as a pure shooter, then you will probably not enjoy it. There are some intense action scenes, but most of these come later on, much of the earlier parts of the mod are focused on adventure and storytelling.

Installation Instructions

• Copy the Random Quest folder into your SourceMods folder.


• Restart or start Steam.


• Random Quest should now be listed in your Games tab.

Seems PP is down again. Sorry. My Control panel claims it's to do with diskspace but I have plenty left.

I'll post when I know more.

Hey Everybody.

The site has been down for nearly 20 hours now and I haven';t heard back from the support of my host. The WordPress side of the site seems to be the problem as the rest of the site seems to be working.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. In fact yesterday I couldn't even create a Blogger post, which is why this is so late.

I will update this post as soon as I have more information.

My Sincere Apologies

As of 9:09 GMT Friday 29 August 2008, the site is still down. I have been in regular connect with my hosts who assure me they are working on the problem.

There is nothing I can do until they contact me, hopefully the fact that it is nearly the weekend won't slow the process down!

As always I will update this blog when I have more information.

Yes, even after receiving an email from my host it seems the site is down again. I am sure they are doing everything they can and I have full confidence in them.

Back Down and Still Down

Ok, it seems the site is back down again. I still haven't received a reply from my first email, so I will wait a while until I send another one.

When I receive more information, I'll update this blog.

Everything is back to normal.

Just got the host's status page to work. This is what they have to say:
We are currently experiencing intermittent DNS outages on all of our nameservers, this is causing problems with sites and email functioning properly.

We think it might be the DNS load balancers we’ve recently installed but haven’t determined that for sure yet. More information will be posted as we have it.

Our apologies for the inconvenience this causes.

Update
It seems that it is just the FTP, so I can't upload any images.

PlanetPhillip.com seems to be down atm. Even my hosts support page is down, so I can't send a message. I'll give it another twenty minutes and then see what's happening.
